THE TERM

Election Deepfakes: Synthetic audio, images, or video generated or manipulated using artificial intelligence to make someone appear to say or do something they did not.

THE NEWS

Colorado election officials are investigating a campaign finance complaint involving an AI-generated video depicting state Sen.
